    If you are BIS, the following might help. Are you going to the e-mail setup icon on your phone? If that doesn't work, there is web access to your BIS account that is carrier specific. Do a google search on your "BIS access (CARRIER NAME)" Once in the account, select edit and change the password, you will receive a confirmation email on your berry.

    The later versions of the BIS platform only set up gmail under IMAP. If you don't have IMAP enabled on gmail, it won't work. If you do have IMAP enabled AND have google labs enabled AND have "Advanced IMAP Controls" enabled, it will act just the way you describe if you don't have the "All Mail" label selected to be accessible under IMAP. So:

    1. Make certain IMAP access is enabled in gmail;

    2. If Google Labs is enabled, disable it;

    3. Make certain that "All Mail" is accessible though IMAP in Advanced IMAP Controls.
