I finally took the dive and downloaded 5.0 it's awesome fast and makes me like my phone again. Everything went smoothly in installation except one thing BBM

I tried to reinstall it but had no luck it never shows up. I tried completely deleting it then did a battery pull and it's still no where to be found.

Any ideas on how to get this back? BBM is the main app I use for messaging and I would hate to have to go back to .148 so I can have it

    Thanks

Go to www .blackberry .com/appworld from your BlackBerry's browser and download appworld to your device

After it is installed and running you need to download the NEW BBM straight from appworld. Go to top free apps and it is #1

From your home screen>BButton>ShowAll folders. Look for Instant Messaging. (It took me 6 trys and 4 days to figure this out

It really is easier to get through App World. Like they said, top free apps, BBM is the top one on the list.

I find it strange that BBM comes up missing a lot for some people lol It shouldn't be giving so much trouble

Downloaded it from the blackberry site and guess what icons appeared on my home screen??

I had the same problem to. I caught that you have to accept the terms for 4.7 before installing 5.0.

What version of BBM5 are you installing? The only one that works with OS5 is BBM 5.0.0.33. If you download any other version of BBM5, it will show up in your Apps folder , but not work show up as a working program on your phone.

Mine was missing as well. I hooked the phone to my PC and ran DM>restore to get back BBM. However, I did loose all my groups.
