recently went to the 9780 from a torch and absolutely love it. Only thing I noticed is when multiple chats on bbm are there, it lags when you scroll down the list of them. I am on .359. I'm thinking this is an os6 issue as the torch did that too? My bold 9700 never had that issue. I remember having like 30 bbm chats running and it was smooth. Anyone else see this?

The entire phone lags...I don't really even care for OS6 esp when it lags so much. I'm on the original build....284? Increased RAM yet the phone goes slower than my 9700. Especially with the universal search, when I even type ONE letter it takes FOREVER for it to search...disappointed.

That seems way to slow. Like slower then a torch lol. You prob should reinstall the 284 or upgrade to 359. Mine only lags a bit when multiple bbm chats are running.

Can say I have any complaints of lag on my phone. I'm running stock out of the box .285. My only comparison is with the 8330 I had before it, and the difference is amazing. Never used the 9700 under OS5, but if it's faster than the 9780 under OS6 all I can say is WOW

I'm on a 9650 and it definitely lags when scrolling through my chats. Wasn't like that in OS5.

And I have universal search lag as well.

I'm just used to the snappiness of OS5, so any type of slow down is very noticeable.
