    Quick question,

If I were to deleted a BBM contact from my blackberry, I assume any messages I have sent/received between them would still be present on their blackberry?

    Thanks for any help!

No I believe the messages get deleted also, BUT I'm not 100%. I'll see if I can get anyone else to help.

I believe if there is a conversation open, it will remain that way. BUT, if the person tries to reply, they will be prompted with a box to 're-add' \ 're-invite' said Contact...

I just tested this -- deleted a contact who is getting an iPhone tomorrow.
The chat was deleted at my end. It's still visible at his end.

My experience is that deleting a contact in BBM will remove all trace in the contact's BBM. Your avatar and BBM contact will vanish instantly from the remote device, and with that gone the deleted person has no access to any prior conversation. Totally Gone in BBM, but you might still remain in the other person's contact list (phone address book) so they could try to re-add you in BBM. If you want to prevent that I think BBM delete has an option to ignore future requests.

    No problem.
Actually it's quite a coincidence that I know someone ditching his BlackBerry just when the OP's post popped up... I was curious as well.

    Update:
My buddy now says the BBM chat history is gone. Delayed slightly, but good to know.

How do you delete or ignore a contact you have added and is a pain in the arse?
