Whenever I try to install the new blackberry messneger in App world, after downloading it, all i get is an hourglass. I have to do a battery pull and start all over. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. I ended up going to blackberry.com/messenger. And it took about 4 mins after it downloaded for it to install.

Give it time and it will finish. Mine took about 30 minutes, possibly longer. The reboot after the install also took a lot longer than usual.

Yes what Max69 said, I had to install mine twice cause I F'd up but both times it took a good 20 - 25 minutess, just let the hourglass sit for a while and it will load properly.

I went to blackberry.com/messenger and it worked just fine. Just make sure you have a new enough OS to support it.
