Hi everyone, I been reading all the posts and I been trying to mess with this for two weeks already since I read the awesome tutorial. I done the steps at least twenty times, but I still cannot get the normal blackberry browser to load the internet without the wifi (even though I loaded the service books and changed the setting to browser). I also am having a really bad time with my text messages, because I can reply really quick to them when someone texts me, but I would need to turn off and on my BB everytime i want to get my text messages in my inbox. I cant get them automatically, I got to reset the phone in order to get the inbox. Any suggestions? please i need help i read all the posts and can;t seem to get it right, maybe I need some help to update the IMEM in the boostmobile website.

    Thanks anyways for your time.

Actually I tried updating the IMEI number in the Boost mobile website and it would not allow me to change it because it says the IMEI number is invalid. I tried three times and it says the same. What can i do?

I want to say thanks this was easy worked first try for me. I have been looking for good workarounds for the attachment issue since I will not be writing a new hex based service book any time soon. What I found is ShoZu, it allows me to upload instead of direct attach to email. But the they have a lot of sites that they upload to and email is one of those "sites". I have been using this to upload to blogger and youtube. I also set it up to email pics to my wife. It is only OTA now no wifi but it does work well. I posted a seperate thred the other day about BES and am wondering if anyone has givven any of the hosted eschange/BES solutions a try? good luck all have fun with your boostberries

I had the same problem. I called them and told them I had an old Nextel phone and the customer service rep was able to change it. He told me that they wouldn't guarantee functionality, but I knew this forum would take care of that.

You don't have to open it, what you need to do is extract it and then use your DM to install it in your phone, following the steps by Amy.

Then you need to download a file extracting program...google "winrar" and install it in your computer, once installed, right clic the combined3 file and then you should see that extract all option.

My computer at work is restricted, try the link I put and see where it takes you, I am not sure if that's the one you need.
