What do you all think? There is clearly an icon blanked out in the picture in the OP.

    Any ideas?

Also seems like some parts of the screens are transparent and show the wall paper behind it, like the maps icon, or the top of the header. Interesting.

The device switch icon looked interesting as well. If they are doing away with pins, maybe they are going to use the BB ID system with the playbook native apps that are supposed to be coming soon?

Not a flattering photo. Hope it looks better in real life then it does there.
    Sort of looks cheap.

Probably a carrier specific app or menu.

Screen looks great. Anyone else think that's a Playbook like background?

I wouldn't be suprised if those icons are services, such as Netflix, or something that simply aren't ready to be announced.

We already know Netflix and Qualcomm inked a deal to bring the service to Qualcomm only Androids. Luckily, the Monaco will be running a Qualcomm too

What is in the top left corner? It looks like a sticker covering something, or is that my imagination?

It looks great and so does os 6.1. I really believe that it is running on an os6 kernel or micro kernel. Stoked.

Also i heard they were getting rid of PIN (like bbm pin?) for the universal login, which would be better especially when you change phones, you won't have to add your bbm contacts again. Ah yeah....

BG said in the comments section that the blacked items were not carrier specifics but new features that couldnt be leaked yet.

Those buttons (send, menu, back, and end) have always been on Blackberry devices. Nothing Android about that.

Also they're probably actually buttons, not an extension of the touchscreen made to seem like buttons.

It looks like a nice device but I just don't see how this competes with the androids that have come out recently and the upcoming one's. All the hot android phones are 4g. Not 1 blackberry on that 2011 roadmap has 4g capability.

I understand your point. However, the 4.5hr battery life BGR & others report on the only true LTE(4G) device on the market is totally unacceptable for me & my needs. 4.5hrs is good enough for you?
