Ok I find this weird I had a 9700 I upgraded to a 9900 which is working great. My 9700 is still working I have it connected to wifi so randomly I decided to see if the BBM was still working and added my new pin from my 9900 to my BBM on my old 9700 the request was sent through fine and I could send messages perfectly as well as add others.

I am confused as to how my 9700's BBM would still be working without a sim only being connected to wifi when I have transferred my service to my new device which I'm also currently using and works perfectly fine. Any explanation for this and could I continue to use both devices/pins for bbm???

You likely still have the servicebooks. Wiping with BBSAK and reloading the OS will remove them. There is a chance the IMEI/PIN # is still registered on BIS.

Agree, mostly it will be the service books and a carrier mistake while canceling it..
