I heard and read a little bit about BBConnect. Couldnt find a whole lot of information on google (maybe im searching the wrong thing) and also tried to find info on the blackberry website, but no luck. My question is, which phones allow you to use BBM? Thanks for help

None. Other phones do not have PINs.

I don't see how it could at this time. BBM uses the pin for routing as far as I know.

i understand the whole pin thing, but with BBConnect they create a pin for you to use on your smartphone. U can download the software for BBConnect on the nokia website, for use in canada and the states. it doesnt work on all models tho and i was wondering which other phones allow you to do so.

I would still say no since you need a PIN number which is labled to the device only. If PINS were availble for use outside of BBM you'd see PC dekstop BBM clients...

As far as I know BBM is blackberry only (for obvious reasons), however I do believe iPhone has an app called Ping which is basically the same thing. The one difference I know is that you create your own PIN and use that.
