Hello everyone! I just downgraded from a leaked OS6 (w/ hybrid modifications) to the official OS5 (5.0.0.1030). Everything seemed to be working fine until I tried to execute Blackberry Messenger. I keep getting this message: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. Does anyone know what this might be?

Have you done a battery pull?

I'd say a BP should fix it, or something might have gone wrong in your loading.
    Uninstall bbm, and battery pull
Re install it and battery pull.

Yeah I did. I even wiped the phone before I downgraded. Did several battery pulls. Very weird.

Null pointer exception happens to me also. When the smily button is lit up and you push the back arrow to exit i get the error. But only in the event log. Also make sure all of your app permissions are set to allow. That helped clear up some errors for me.

Thanks. Got the situation rectified. I think there was a program in conflict with bbm. Not certain though. Just happy it's fixed!
