I just upgraded, or downgraded or whatever to 5.0.0.33 from the older 5.0 leak. Anyways, I got this email:

    Hello,

Thank you for using BlackBerry Messenger. To help prevent unauthorized use of this email address, we need to confirm its ownership. Please ensure that your BlackBerry is turned on to complete the registration. This email will be automatically processed by BlackBerry Messenger. Please do not delete this email until registration occurs.
If this email is in your Junk mail folder, mark it as "Not Junk". On your BlackBerry Messenger profile screen, click the email address you are trying to register and use the menu key to send the registration again.

    Thank you,
    BlackBerry Messenger

It went to my Yahoo inbox but not to my device. I tried to do what it says to send it again but there are no email addresses on my BBM profile screen for me to click on. I had this problem before but I figured it was because the other 5.0 version I was running was a leaked one.

Can someone shine some light on this?

    Thanks,
    Frankie

Do you have your email set up on your phone? If so you aren't missing anything. You will not actually see the message come through on your device because it is automatically processed by the phone & BBM.

To send the registration message again you need to select Backup Contact List > Backup remotely. This will tell you whether the phone has actually been registered with the network for automatic contact list backup. If it idnt you should be able to press the menu button & resend the registration message.
