I'm still having issues with my Bold/Verizon as I posted in here

But as a test, I'd like to activate my old Curve (8330). Whats the best way to get my BBM contacts on there? What I mean is, I know how to restore my list, but every time I do that on a new device, when I send a message to one of my contacts it says that I have to re-request them. That's annoying. Is there a way around that?

The reason that you have to readd them to the bbm list is that you are using a different PIN that they have not authorized on thier device yet. I do not believe there is a way to get around that.

Backup your bbm contacts using the "backup files remotely" option with one of your addresses. Then after activating the new device it's pretty easy to restore them this way. I have changed devices multiple times and never had any issues.

Using this option automatically sends your new device info to all your bbm contacts so neither party has to do anything.
