I thought I had read a while back that the new BBM 5 was going to include a feature to track your contacts GPS locations and could be configured to notify you when contacts were in close proximity. I can't seem to find this feature set anywhere. Is it not something that was ever discussed or did RIM pull the feature for some reason? I thought I remember it being similar to Google Latitude but better.

Sure it is. I'm able to send my location and receive others' locations.

Maybe this in one of the functions that will not work without OS 5.0?
