Sorry, just want to take this time to apologize to you and your friend. It does seem as though he is way more important than I am. Your friend would get the last seat on the life boat if it came down to them or me.

Is the text fixed in the opening screen. Is it still really small? Like us it hard to see all the conversations and if your messages were delivered and read?

Same as .55 with fixes to known problems. Spell check being one of them, yes. The photo/file share "preview" seems to be a little more streamline.

That's the new format. So that you can read contact's status updates easier and read more of your messages. That's the way it'll be from here on out.

Looks like SMS messages from Messenger contacts aren't showing up in this version.

That is a cool feature indeed, something that should have been available with the original BBM 5.
that feature has been available for all versions of bbm5, and is not new.

Ok thanks. I can't say I'm thrilled about it because I'm more worried about if stuff was delivered than status updates which most of my friends don't use anyway. Glad there is a reason though. Thanks I'll download it now.

How do I determine which version BBM I have? Is it the same as my OS? How do I force an upgrade if one is available. It's not in my (Verizon) Application Center. Do I just go to AppWorld and DL it and it'll let me know if I have an older one? Why do I have so many questions? I'm new to BB's. Thanks.

Click on the options icon(looks like wrench)from there >advanced options>applications> once the list builds you can scroll down and se what version of BBM you have as well as all your programs. Here is a link to the thread below this one shows pictures as well from post # 8 and down
