    It runs all the time, and I think it doesn't need to. Like Ubertwitter and Facebook, you can close them, and they aren't running until you want them to. I was just hoping BBM could be shut down when not using it. oh well.

    Its not like its using that much memory or anything I use bbm all the time and I only go from 57mb free beginning of the day down to about 54mb throughout a day like 7am til 3 am
