Is there an SD card reader available for the Playbook? Like for Android tablets I can get a USB dongle thingy that plugs in where the charger usually plugs in. I can insert my SD card into that and I can use the SD card that way for copying pictures or documents. I've searched but can't find any mention of this. Surely it's not a dicfficult accessory to find a demand for. Does it exist?

I don't think such an accessory would work, as that would require PlayBook OS to support USB host, which it doesn't.

as I've been learning about the pros and cons of playbooks the playbook could if the usb was unlocked to provide ota support, something they did get working back in the rooting days.

it's one of those security things BB put in like the lack of bluetooth file transfer with non BB devices.

total pain really which means a big of extra work but I supposed it stops you being bluejacked.
