Hello I am sure this has been asked numerous times but you gotta help me out. Step by step please. I have chrome and the extension downloaded. How do you get apps there? Where do you find them? I know it may be dumb but I have no clue. Thanks

Honestly, instead of sideloading apps, I'd recommend you load up the new 10.2.1.1925 OS, aka release 10.2.1.537.

You can do so via the BB10 Leaked/Beta OS Forum, or use the desktop app Sachesi to load it now that numerous carriers have officially released it.

With 10.2.1 you can directly download & install Android apps straight from your device without any sideloading.
The Google Play store itself doesn't work; however there is a couple websites where you can input a URL from Play and then download the app via Browser.
In addition there are several third party app stores that work, such Amazon Appstore, 1Mobile, Mobogenie, Good e-Reader and many others. Check out the Sticky Threads at top of our Android Apps (APK Files) Forum:

Yes for the os. I just get all garbage downloaded to my laptop
