Sideloaded a couple of Android apps and I've noticed random pictures showing up on the device (in picture gallery). Could be a coincidence. Have any of you seen images like this?

Aren't those pictures from the app itself?
Also, are you a member of any groups on BBM? If you have pictures set to download you can end up with all types of pics on your phone.

No virus.
Some side loaded apps pit cached images into your pictures folders.
I have a huge problem with this and tumblr
To the point that I don't use the app.
It takes up soo much space.

I hope they fix that in an update. At least so if the space hasn't been used for so long it gets freed up when needed.

It an app thing, not a runtime thing.
Maybe caching can be disabled I'm the app settings?

many ppl love sideloads,,, imo, they just don't seem to end well @ all,,, given droid is malware heaven, i'm surprised people do this,,, even when deleted, many sideloads leave alot of junk on your device...

Listing of my favorite sideloads. Some apps/sideloads have functionality that don't exist on a Web page.

The ones that are high on my wish list:
Hailo (for nyc taxis)
Zip car (can open the car door, ...)

Sadly, Hailo and Zip car android sideloads don't work on my Z.
