Wow, I think I found the best way to find apk files
- Online APK Downloader | Download APK Directly From Google Play To Your Computer
does the same thing with 1 less step.
here, you can simply search for the app that you want (i.e. 'Spotify' and it'll give you the apk to download).
without having to go back and forth with copy/ paste.
enjoy.03-11-15 08:48 PMLike 0 - It's even easier. Have a look at that gem I saved to Remember a while ago:

Quick tip for download and installing .apk's right from your phone without even using snap, DDPB, or any sideloaded app. Works on 10.2+ obviously, since prior OS versions do not know what to do with .apks.
Just google search for the app you want, click the play store link, and right from your phones browser edit the url to replace "play.google" with "apk-dl". IE, "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netflix.mediaclient&hl=en" becomes "https://apk-dl.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netflix.mediaclient&hl=en"
Boom, direct .apk download to your device and just click it from the downloaded file list to install. Every once in a while it shows an error, just hit refresh once or twice and it will work.
------
That's pretty much what that app or URL does. No magic involved. Normally works with free apps.
Have fun, guys... :-)
"Oh Classic, you are the fairest here so true. But Passport is a thousand times more powerful than you..." (no offense, Classic is a great device, when it's charged)
Glad it's being used! Too bad these days it hits it's limit so fast that you can rarely actually use it. Now I use 1mobilemarket since apk-dl runs out of uses per day, snap hides incompatible apps, and 1MM can usually find and install the app no problem. .apks are stored in misc/android/onemarketdownload or something like that.

Google play also tells me when there is a new update for an app, some how it's headless. Some people even have snapchat working headlessly, no idea how.03-11-15 11:03 PMLike 0 - Prem WatsAppCrackBerry Jester of Jesterswhy not just get google play? it helps with the services as well. Passposted while waiting for the Z-lider.... 04-27-15 10:17 PMLike 0 - Just tried the apk-dl site and got nothing but annoying ads. If I touch the screen anywhere, another tab opens advertising some online casino or a day trading scam. Can't even scroll down without having this kick in. And if I do manage to tap the download button, I get the 'out of quota' message.
It's just another service, much like evozi. Right now I'm having trouble getting the Second Cup (a coffee chain in Canada) mobile app - evozi can't generate the apk for it. I emailed the dev, and no response at all. Too bad, I much prefer their coffee to Starbucks.
Looks like I'll have to load GPS. Thanks in advance, Cobalt.

Google Play will sometimes hide certain apps that it assumes are incompatible for your device, and apk-dl is pretty much useless now because of all the ads and user limits it has.

apk-dl and evozi actually search the Play Store for apps, so they'll always return a search result for the app you're looking for.
evozi has been unreliable since last year, always fetching very old versions of apk files, and apk-dl has become ad-ridden to the point of making it impossible to get to the download link.04-30-15 03:15 AMLike 0 - Prem WatsAppCrackBerry Jester of JestersJust tried the apk-dl site and got nothing but annoying ads. Anyway, if you like playing games on the phone, play "Scroll down and Catch the green download button" before the ads kick in, I usually manage within three attempts.
If you make it a game, it's less annoying, and I do play games on the phone or PlayBook... :-)

- Well, I was a little hesitant to install Google Play on my phone, but then my 13-year-old daughter, for whom I just bought a Z10, proudly told me that she did it herself. She is not a CB member, so she opened the browser on her phone and did a Google search on 'install Google Play on BlackBerry' and found Cobalt's post. She followed the instructions and was done in minutes.
It took me a little while to remember my Google login info - I haven't used it in about 4 years - but then I decided to give in because I wanted an app that the apk fetchers couldn't get for me. It took all of two minutes, over a coffee, to download and install the 3 files and sign in.
Now, looking through the apps on GPS, I'm finding it creepy that the first reviews I see are from my contacts. So far, it's the only negative. I would say go for it, I don't think the apk fetchers or 1Mobile are any less bad at abusing your privacy.
