Hi tatail,

thank for your help getting working apps I have a couple of questions, hope you can help me...
This is the first time I'm installing patched apks.
Do we need to update the Google Play Services apk every time there's a new version?
Do we need to restart the device every time we install patched apks?.. And do we need to first uninstall the old app in order to update it?

No you should never update Google Play Services unless the update is patched.

You don't need to restart your phone after update or installation of a regular app.

The only time you need to uninstall and restart your phone is when you are installing Google Play Services.

You can install a patched update of 'let's say' Uber over the existing app and it should work just fine.

Uber Driver v3.48.1
Lyft v3.4.0

Did you restart your phone?

It is important that you restart your phone and let it set idle for five minutes then, open Google maps and make sure it detects your location.
After that open Uber App

If this one doesn't work for you, you can try patching original uber apk with lucky patcher. Works seamlessly for me

I have Blackberry Q10 OS 10.2.1.3023. I'm having the same unable to locate location problem for my Uber Driver app but it shows the map at the top of my Blackberry as if it is finding the location.

Also Google Maps won't open for me. Is there another patch or workaround that?

Also would an older version of Uber Driver still work?

Ok scratch that, I downloaded the update for Google Maps and it's working....now let me try Uber again!

I am sorry that you are having problems with location but if you read the first post I have explained in detail how I fix my problem with Location error.

And that is the only way how I get Uber apps to work.

Any idea why I cannot download? I click on the link and it says the download has started but I have no idea where it is saved or if it is actually downloaded? I am trying to download the Uber cab app. I am trying this on my PC using both Explorer and Chrome. I tried it a few weeks ago on my Z30 with the same issue....says downloading but no idea if it really is.

On chrome press Cntrl+J buttons it'll pop a new tab with all your downloads that are either in process or have downloaded.

If it has been downloaded or is in the process you should be able to see and open its location.
