    Google maps stopped working for me. Could be some thing to do with google play. There was an update a few days ago.

    Good thing I stopped using my Passport as my main device for Lyft.

    That problem has been there since beginning of the year.
    The reason it can't do that is because something gets broken during the patch and it can't reach Google severs to find your address.

    Lyft depends on Google to locate the actual address that you are trying to type and in case of not finding it, it just doesn't allow you to enter the address.

    The Oct. 30 update would not work for me for 24 hours. The next day I tried again and it worked, I have no idea why. I was doing exactly the same things.

    Yesterday I was driving in the morning and after one trip Uber wouldn't run any more, required an update. I downloaded your patched file hoping it would work and it didn't. I deleted that, deleted google play services, deleted google maps and started over. And yes, I rebooted when you said. Still nothing. I have repeated this about 20 times over two days and it does not work.

    Uber partner will start but when I try to log in it says "cannot find your location" and won't let me continue.

    Google maps works fine. Lyft still works also and is not requiring me to load the update you provided. I am afraid to delete Lyft because if that stops working too I will be in much worse shape than I am now. Is having Lyft on the phone causing the updated Uber to not work? It was not running when I deleted and reinstalled everything else and it doesn't keep google maps from working.

    I have a fairly new blackberry passport running 10.3.1.1779.

    Same problem with Uber Driver, also as of yesterday morning.

    Guys lets start from scratch.

    I have uploaded new versions of Uber, Uber Partner and Lyft.
    Give me details on what device, what OS version as well as what Google Play Services version are you using it on.
    Please, also report if it is working well for you.

    It works!

    I don't know what you did differently, but the new file works. In case this information is useful to you, when I first went through the process (deleting, reboot, google play, reboot, wait, maps, uber) Uber Partner started logging in and again told me "cannot find location." I started google maps and tried starting Uber again, which has worked at times. This time it went to the "go online" screen, which is a step further than I had gotten before. When I clicked "go online," I got a screen saying "google play services is updating" where the map should be, which I don't remember seeing before. I started google play and restarted uber with no change. So I closed Uber, rebooted and started it again. Then it worked.

    I don't know if any of that helps you but I thought it might.

    I am running the most recent patched versions of each file that you have uploaded. As I said earlier, I have a fairly new blackberry passport running 10.3.1.1779.

    You are a godsend. If you charged a reasonable membership fee for this service I would gladly pay it and so would many other people.

    There is at least one difference, I have a version 10.3.2.2xxx running on my phone and that could be the reason.

    The version of the apps that I download from Google Play Store are for Android version 4.3.

    If you get a chance and update your OS to the latest version available you will find that apps run a lot smoother and less buggier.

    Installed your new Driver update, it works now. Thanks again. I wasn't able to access "feedback " before, now I can.
    I'm running 10.3.2.2639 on my z30.

    I'm considering getting a cheap Android phone soon just to run Uber Driver, using mobile Hotspot from the z30. It's become a source of income for me, so I don't want to lose days again.

    Actually it is not working. Box says "download starting" however no download starts.
    Link not working for me from multiple computers. I did log in to box, to no avail.

    Okay what browser are you using?
    The best thing to do is just open the link on your phone that you are install the app, using the default BB10 browser.
    It works great for everyone that I know of.

    I'm trying on my laptop in Firefox and directly on the phone. Both are giving me the same issue, "download started" and nothing happens. The mirror old version downloads immediately.
