I install Google Service, Uber driver and Uber cabs on your Box share folder.

Finally it's work for me (with some delay in app, but ok) .

Do i need to update Google Service and Uber app when it has updates on "Snap" (google play store client)?

Don't update them. They requires special patching to work

No never update them.. I keep patching the new updates that come in and upload them to the box so you can always check there.

i think i have the same phone as you, z10 stl100-3
can you run uber partner?

Since you have the stl 100-3 I believe you are on tmobile.
It seems to be a bug that wouldn't locate me no matter what application I used.
From my findings I believe it happens when you have LTE enabled.
Go to settings and under network mode select any 4G option.
Let me repeat choose 4G not 4G LTE.
Then it should work no problem.
It solved my GPS navigation issues on 10.3.1xxx and 10.3.2.768.
Then after I'm done driving I simply go back to full 4G LTE.

I think if you upgrade to the latest official 10.3.2 you will have a better experience.
There are two core apps that is required that you must install.

1. Patched Google Play services included in the link
2. Patched Uber app.

On cases where your location is not getting picked up install Google maps through Snap.

Yes, you need to uninstall those.
I would also restart the phone after uninstalling Google Play Services.

The Uber Cab app works fine, which I downloaded from the same patch (AppBox), so the problem is with the Uber Partner (Driver) app only.

I am paying extra amount of money to uber to rent their phone and this would help me a lot. Please help!

Did you install Google Maps?
If not install Google Maps
Open Google Maps first and let it find your location
Once Google Maps has your location open Uber Partner app
