Why aren't my Android apps (PT32-GSM) working on my BB10?

Have a thermostat which can be controlled via test messages but Android app will not work on BB10, showing message - "SMS Sending Error: Generic failure".

Android SMS apps will not work on BB10. It has to do with the fact that they are running inside an emulator and BlackBerry 10's SMS is integrated into the OS and can not be overridden.
