I searched the forum and can't seem to get a definitive answer here. A fitness band that will work with BB10 SMS, BBM, email, etc. Wife keeps her Q10 in a pocket pouch in a purse. Hence, she misses texts and calls. Any suggestions for a wrist band that'll work without too much fiddling? Thanks

Fitbit uses email alerts when you hit certain goals or if your battery is getting weak, etc. The Android app works well on my Passport too.

I don't really know to be honest, I never use my Fitbit for notifications other than goal achievement and low battery alerts. I've seen chatter that suggests it does but I can't confirm either way.

Look for a smart watch. Gonna be more helpful then a fitnes band I guess.

You need an Android watch. Like Moto 360, LG or Samsung for advanced notifications . Then should see if they have the app on Amazon store. I still can't be sure if it would 100% work.

For Fitbit to get notificatins, you need the larget model (kinda ugly). The other ones only show very basic notifications. I think best is to buy from somewhere you can easily return if you couldnt get it to work.

None. None work well out of the box. You can use some android apps to synch info, but active notifications to the watch is not happening.
