Last week i bought a blackberry classic and then i found out that whatsapp will be discontinued after December 31. Then i learned a method to fix that by using whatsapp downloaded google play store. I tried this method but it failed.
Does anyone here know what i can do?
    Thanks

There are no guarantees as to what will happen after December 31, but a patched version of the Android APK is your best chance on BlackBerry 10. Here's a recent thread dedicated to this issue: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...hread-1088960/

Did the download fail? or did the app refuse to run? if the download failed you should try apkmirror.com, you can download the apk from them

If you can't get the Android app that you want using the Amazon App, you need to either install (side load) Snap from the Red Light of Love or install Cobalt's Google Play Store software solution.

Can someone explain to me what's with the snap/amazon thing for installing Whatsapp on OS10? I've noticed several members recommending this method but when I used my Q5 ( stalled the android version so I could have 2 accounts on one phone) I just needed to download the apk from Whatsapps website and install it directly.. Does the snap method fix integration with hub or something? Or do people just not know they can easily install an app without a store?

Good point. Now that you mention it, I recall someone saying they got the APK directly from WhatsApp. Here's the link for anyone else who wants to download it: https://www.whatsapp.com/android/

You'll need to install the WAA Fixer for the media issues.

No. He probably has Whatsapp already. His concerns is on how to continue using Whatsapp on his device after Dec. 31.
