Hm, I don't know where to post this (or even if..) , but maybe for someone this is interesting...

Last week the kindle fire 7 hdx was on sale an I got one for 99�. Similar to BB10-Phones this amazon tablet has no google play store and you have to sideload apps which are not available from the amazon app store. If you have a BB10 device with snap this is quite easy:
First you have to download and install the wanted app over snap to your BB10-device. After the installation the apk of the installed app is stored at your device at the folder "media/download" (this is only working for free apps, if you want you can delete the app on your bb10 device after installing). Then all you have to do is connect the kindle fire to your bb10-device, and copy the wanted apk to your kindle. Therefor I'm using the "es file explorer" which I have downloaded from the amazon app store, at "network => search" the es file explorer can easily connect to your device (of course you have to allow wifi access to your bb10 device).
I could even use this for installing bbm on the tablet (you can install the android bbm-app on your bb10-device, even it is not working)

(sigh... I bought the kindle fire to replace my BlackBerry PlayBook... display, sound and speed of the kindle fire is great, but the UI compared to the Playbook is really ugly and not user-friendly... I would like to have a kindle-hdx-like tablet with bb10 )

You can get Google play store or 1 mobile for your Kindle with some twist and turns. Might need to install play services but this is doable since sangria is a stripped down android.

Thanks for sharing this being able to run snap directly from kindle that would be cool - I prefer the interface over that of the play store.
