Same here. Download latest from snap. Patch with lucky patcher. It works, and loads and everything. Haven't had a chance to request a cab yet though so I can't speak to that aspect but the app itself is fully functional

I'm on10.3.2.x but it should not matter. Uber (current version anyway) won't work without patching

This may be important (or maybe not):

I found that lucky patcher sometimes can't patch apps that have been open prior to patching.

(side note: do NOT update lucky patcher itself. It will say that newer version is available but newer versions don't work. I'm using lucky patcher 4.4.7. )

Steps that I follow that make patching with lucky patcher 4.4.7 work:
1) download app with snap (I'm prefer older 2.0.0.2 snap)
2) install the app
3) when the installation completes and you are left with the install screen and "OPEN" button, do NOT click open.
4) close snap
5) open lucky patcher
6) press and hold finger on the desired app to be patched
7) select "create modified APK file"
8) Select "APK without Google advertisements"
9) Select "remove dependences" check box. Should be the last check box.
10 optional) I also select the "resize advertisements to null/zero" check box
11) hit "rebuild the application"
12) wait
13) click OK on patcher result screen (should be green) and close lucky patcher
14) UNINSTALL/delete the application from from phone by long pressing the icon for it and clicking the little trash can icon
15) reboot the phone
16) open the file manager app
17) navigate to the lucky patcher modified folder
18) click on the app.apk file
19) installer window opens up and click install
20) after installation completes, do NOT click open and just close the installer window
21) reboot the phone again (for good measure)
22) enjoy your newly patched application.


I follow those step all the time and have yet to have an app not work. If the app doesn't work after following these steps, then the app is likely unpatchable and no matter what you try to patch it, chances are it will never work.

The issue isn't with lucky patcher not being able to patch. The issue is with actually installing the app. To keep things simple, the app should not be installed prior to patching. Then you don't have to worry about uninstalling and restarting, etc.

And if I stay on an old version that always worked. will it still work to order a car? It opens and functions fine on 3.39. But I dunno if it can actually order a ride.

If it doesn't give you an error then it should just work fine.. between the two companies only Lyft forces users to update.
