    Hi xsacha

I'm converting Lync 2010 , but when I try to install them, using Sachibar or DDPB, it gave me error: failure -9

Can you give me a heads up on this error ?

    I'm on 10.2.0.341 dev, so I got 4.2.2 runtime

Edit : Sorry, my bad, lync 2010 is not responding, lync 2013 is the one that got error: failure -9

    And FYI

I've converted viber, and it works, so it means there's nothing wrong with the conversion process

thanks! it worked but my problem now is that it failed to encrypt the keystore, invalid password orstore password not supplied.

do you have a solution for that too?

Just wanted to report, that when I convert an .apk in Linux, Sachibar gives me an failure 500. The same .apk converted in windows does work...

Also: wouldn't it be cool to symlink the Android folder to a folder on the SD-Card to save space?

Have you guys tried signing the bar file after you converted it?

    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/...ne/ta-p/944647

You have to change the development mode in the manifest to false, but it will allow you to use it without a debug token.

If someone wants to send me a bar file they have converted I can attempt to sign it and send it back. I don't have a BB10 device but have been able to get this working on my PB.

how will i know when to reinstall the debug token? there is a 30-day limit right? afterwhich, I simply log on to the link and get more tokens from there?

Surely after signing it the debug token native code permissions would be revoked, otherwise we'd have all the android apps availiable on bb world

If someone could send me a working bar file we could test this theory.

I think we should put to test first before drawing conclusions.

Just for testing, here is Pinterest that I converted using the script and then signed:

It should also work on the PlayBook.

You need to set the PATH variable to where the JDK is located. If you are on Windows, here is a good tutorial:

Thanks again Sacha. The new method works for me on my Mac now. FYI, the config.txt is missing from the Mac file so I grabbed it from the Windows package. When you run the command in terminal, make sure you run it from the directory where its located. By default Terminal starts at your home directory, so for example in my case just "cd desktop/APK" (i changed the package folder to APK). Put the .apk in that folder as well. Also I find it helps to shorten the .apk file name to keep it simple. And lastly, it may not work the first time, I have to run the same command 3 times before the conversion works. Not sure as to why but it works so I can't complain

Here's how Terminal looks for me upon success, you can see Sachas folder on the left (renamed to APK)
