i know this is stupid, but im not getting emailed the files im only getting a download for a bbidtoken.csj can someone help me with what im doing wrong?

I have yet to receive the email with the .csj files. Any suggests, its been over 24 hrs.

I know this is probably something really stupid, however I was able to download the debug token, but when I launched the url from the short cut provided and attempted to get the files emailed to me, I keep getting bounced back to log in constantly. Any thoughts as to why this is occurring on the bb site? I used the exact hyperlink that XSacha provided

Sorry to drag up an old thread

I followed the instructions - however i had an error when i dragged the 2 csj files onto the 'registertoken' file - the CMD prompt began, the first 2 lines were successful (Info: Successfully registered with server) However the third line gave the error - ''Error: No Device specified

Because of this a debugtoken.bar was not generated. and if i try to redo the process it says 'Already Registered with PBDT''

the only difference i noticed from the install guide, is my config file seemed to have different options: Below is mine:

set PASSPIN=123123123
:: This is what you registered with on the website. Example: 0123456

set PASSKEY=123123123
:: This is a password you make up and remember. Example: rocket11

set DEVICEIP=169.254.0.1
:: This is the IP address of your phone. Default is USB. Change if you want WiFi. Example: 10.1.1.5

set DEVICEPASS=8080
:: This is the developer mode password of your phone. Example: blackberry

:: Remember to add your PIN(s) to pinlist.txt
:: Just put the lower-case pin (eg. 54001040) in the file and save. If you have multiple pins, put them on a new line.

Just to sum up:
PASSPIN - This is the pin number i entered when i signed up on the website
PASSKEY - as above
DEVICEIP - mines connected to my USB
DEVICEPASS - this is the pin on the phone to access dev mode

Are you adding your pin to the pinlist? When trying with new csj files remember to delete author p.12 and the two other files located in research in motion/user/appdata/ local

Your tutorial is great and I have been able to follow it step by step but this is one hiccup. To get the BlackBerry Token, BB has seemed to change there page and all I can seem to get from them is a .csk file. How do I get the .csj files?

How did you get instagram working?
I installed a token I made from the BarInstall website, and then installed v4.0.2 of instagram, it still gives me the error that my device does not meet the compatibility requirements, then when I delete it and install a prior version, it lets me log in, then says I need to visit the play store to update it.

What am I doing wrong?

Choose the PlayBook option instead.

The bar is there permanently for now. They put it there cause nobody knew the swipe gesture to go back. Let's hope they get rid of it.

Yes it will work on that OS. There's also a unlocked version of the Android runtime that you can install. Will be a lot easier especially if you're not familiar with debug tokens. Just search the forums for it, won't be hard to find.
