i did all the steps with the Android-Pack but didn't get a debug token bar file on my PC or phone. I did get a convert androidapp.bat file. anone have this happen?

Just forget about all the debug tokens and signing keys stuff, you can convert apps via drag & drop in no time now..

Same thing happened to me. Just install the playbook extension in google chrome and using that u can install the debug token and all the other bar files.

Install the playbook manager plug in for google chrome to install the bar files and u will be good to go.

it probably means that your debug token is not installed on your phone!use the google chrome extension to install it.

OK. I just updated all the files.

Now Mac and Linux have the same scripts as Windows. No sanity checking though so make sure config.sh i filled out correctly and all the files have executable privilege.

I have included pinlist.txt. Put all your pins in there, separated by new lines.

I currently have a few android apps sideloaded, like SnapChat (with no video) - would it be best to get rid of them, and install them using this method? Would I then have all the features?

I found that my token expired and had to generate a new one with BlackBerry. Once I got a new token everything worked fine.

I've looked through and haven't seen this problem. I created debug etc a while ago and everything worked. I tried again and everything is done and the debug is on my phone but then I get this.
All the info is correct pin, password etc so I'm not sure what's going wrong. I've started completely fresh twice.

If you are using Chrome Playbook app manager or Vnbb10 to sideload, then yes, Development mode has to be enabled.

What dustmalik said... plus depending on the size of the file, it can take a few seconds to a couple minutes.

Great tutorial. I got lots of apps converted and running.

I'm having an issue with two apps in particular though.

When I try to convert them I get messages displayed in the CMD window referring to com.google.android.maps and then when the script attempts to install I get 'Failure -9'. The icons appear on my device however. I can start the app and the permissions options appear however when I accept the app closes immediately.

Is there any way of getting these apps working on my Z10?
Edit: My Z10 is running 10.2.0.1047 with 1047 runtime
