Have you dragged those 2 CSJ files into Folder that you should create where you would keep these files together (see pic)

What you need to do is drag those two CSJ files (client-PBDT and client-RDK) onto "a-registertokens" -this should give you the Debugtoken.bar

Any chances to get root access in android runtime ?

Thinking about it, I reckon it is theoretically possible. There are a couple of root methods that worked on GingerBread (Android 2.3.X) which relied on native code binaries. For example, GingerBreak: [App] [26.04.2011][v1.2] GingerBreak APK (root for GingerBread) - xda-developers - you could try this and see if it works.

EDIT: And if that doesn't work, you could try installing Terminal Emulator and finding some of the various exploit binaries e.g. zergRush, GingerBreak, psNeuter etc. (can't remember which are blocked/not blocked on which versions of Android)

EDIT: A quick test on PB says it isn't vulnerable to Gignerbreak, but is to zergRush and Zimperlich. Dunno if incompatibility with Gingerbreak is just because of lack of native code running or not, probably still worth testing on BB10.

So after getting back into the work computer where I had the setup files (and is faster than my home setup lol) I now see what xsacha was saying to my earlier post of trying to get it to work on the PlayBook. The install is looking for 10.0.9 OS, so 2.1.0.1526 is showing as invalid, even though the debug tokens installed find and the conversion went alright.

Least the hope is still alive now that 10.1 has supposedly been spotted for PB.

Yeah after a couple of tries I still didn't get the code so I chose the option for Viber to call me instead and sure enough an automated voice call gave me the code over the phone which was really fast!

I got Tango.apk from apps.goodereader.com under "New Android apps" and it's working perfectly fine - not sure about WeChat since I don't use it. Hope that helps

I tried Temple Run 1 and 2 and both failed. Are you on 10.1 ? I'm not. Maybe that's the problem?

Simple question, perhaps not a simple answer: Any way to tell why a sideloaded app fails? If it�s due to native code or API compatibility. It doesn�t seem the API compatibility rating on Google Play is a good indicator as to whether this will work or not.

hi i tried this but have an error that it is looking for author.p12 in a particular directory and when i checked in that directory that particular file is missing, this seems to be mentioned in the initial tutorial but i cant for the life of me understand how to create and author.p12 file.. can someone point me in the right direction... would much appreciate the help.

I had the same problem. My issues was the length of the 'PASSKEY'. It must be at least 6 characters. Note that you will have to remove the .csk and .db files that were created before you attempt to change the 'PASSKEY'.

ETA: I just sideloaded v. 4.5 from egoodreader and it's working.
