    Hello CB Nation!

    I tried searching the forums but couldn't find any info that related to my question. I'm about to receive a replacement Z10 from Rogers and I have a few side loaded apps (Instagram, Flipboard, Pinterest to name a few), on my current device.

    Does anybody know if the standard back up and port over will work for side loaded apps as well or will I need to re-install them?? I'm just wondering if I'll save myself a headache by uninstalling the apps before doing the port. Not sure if there's any data I would lose by doing so.

    Any peeps tried this or have encountered this before? Thanks in advance for the info!

    Just went through with this exact same situation last week. You will have to side load them on again. The backup won't do it for you unfortunately!
