As you all may know, snapchat "requires" google play services to properly run. As you all know, BlackBerry doesn't support google services. Snapchat works fully on OS 10.3 and up, and you can get it from Snap, google play, or possibly sideload it. In order to get rid of the google services error, you will have to use these working methods:

How to remove Google Play services dependencies with Lucky Patcher

What you all may not know, is that you cannot login on the new snapchat "Discovery" Update, so the app will not work unless you use one of the methods above. Then the app will work flawlessly.

UPDATE
If you had this working before, DO NOT LOG OUT ON NEW DISCOVERY UPDATE! Google and snapchat will stop you from logging in on the BlackBerry device. If you have logged out, and successfully logged back in on the new Discover update for snapchat, please post how below. If you are one of the many who cannot log back in, such as I, then get an older patched version of snapchat before the discover update, and the login will succeed. Then update to the new discover update after logging in.

I downloaded the newest Snapchat update via Snap, then patched it with GMaps Patcher 1.3.1. Works good on my Passport!

Thank you. Your patch worked wonderfully. This version is the old one without the new 'discover' feature, but it works much more seamlessly so I may opt to keep it. Thanks.

Happens a lot. Just close the app and restart or try switching the camera from back to front, or vice versa.

If you flick between the filters, the picture normally appears. In the odd case that it doesn't, you can do what was stated above.

EDIT: If you're on 10.3.1, just switch the size to rectangular and take pictures in that mode. That always works.

Nope, should work on any phone with 10.3.1. Works on my Q5

That's exactly it. Was working fine for me until I accidentally logged myself out by signing in on my iPad. Then Google wouldn't let me back in.

Hold down one of the keys on your keypad to access a special character like "�" for example. Tap to use it (it won't work), but if u tap the screen afterwards the text feature should work.

Just so people are aware, since using the patched app, snapchat have 'temporarily blocked' my account due to 'suspicious activity'. Emailed them to find out what the issue is; stay tuned.

Don't log out after updating to the newest Version. However. If you accidentally log out, keep and old APK handy to install, log in, then update the app again. Old Versions will let you log in without Google services, unlike the newest version.

I've installed the apk on my Z10 (10.2.1), everything works fine but when I try to add text to my pictures and type a space sighn, it hangs. everything else works, just the space bar not. any suggestions?
