Now that 10.2.1 is upon us, will it work with the Smart Watch? - using the Android sync apps of course.

The SmartWatch works only with 10.2.1 (and above), not with the earlier versions.

Because of all of the support and how good it sounds in this thread, I searched kijij and found someone who got a smartwatch 1 for a Christmas gift but they have an iPhone and they're selling it. They had it posted for $100 and i sent a low ball offer of $50 and they accepted the offer and I'm picking it up at 4:00 pm today. It's new in the box. Never opened. I hope I have now issues connecting it to my Q10 running the latest leak.

I got my first Smart Watch, Thanks to You Guys! A brand new Sony Smart Watch 1 for a great price too. The bad news is I have to wait until tomorrow around 3:00 pm to start working with it because I have to work this weekend. But I downloaded all of the apps that were posted and made note of the installation instructions ( posts #94 & #98 ) as well as every post in this thread. Oh ,,,, and I'm charging my SM1

I have my Sony Smart Watch 1 on my arm, paired with my Q10 ( running 10.2.1.1925 ), and my PlayBook. Which is the best of three worlds. I glad I started reading this tread. A special thanks to the OP and the posters who made this possible. Lets hope we all get the help from a developer or perhaps company support from Sony or BlackBerry.

Hi...does anybody use a Sony Smartwatch2 on Z30..i have the latest official update and after loading the .apk from CB forum the app installs but keeps crashing after the Sony sw2 splash screen...can somebody help please

i have sony smartwatch 1,also BB Q5
after updating my Q5 into 10.2.1 1925
i try to install smartconnect and smartwatch apps.

all is done well and pairing also success.. i could got the time shown on the SW..

but i try to call the phone... the SW not responding at all, *like not connected at all for call handling..

so any one have any clue , or better result ?

Eir, I have problem with ur smart connect, after I installed smartconnect from page 1, there is no icon and then when I click it crashed. Help please.

hi andi, whats ur bb type n os version? i succesfully install both of them, just cant install any working application that works with smartwacth..so now its just sony watch... not "smart" if pair with Blackberry Q5..

For the love of me I just can't get this to work. Downloaded the files from SendSpace and installed, but phone keeps saying that certificates are different. Trying to sign the files myself but can't seem to do it. Can someone help me here please?

if anyone got the latest leak, try to install original smartwatch app (non altered for bb10). They improved again runtime, so maybe smartwatch apps are improved

I tried many things described but still on Z10 SW2:
1. smart connect is fine installed, but smartwatch 2 can not be from oryginal google play.
2. If the modified files used (downloaded from the crackberry locations) I am getting the message line "host application has different certification then the smart connect".

Any other solution?

I use oryginal latest OS on blackberry.

Anyone that has a set of applications that work for SW2? I managed to install Smart Connect and the SmartWatch 2 application but then when I try to download and Install any application it does nothing.
