Hi and apologies if this isn't the correct forum...and a silly question!

K, I have a kick azz Sonos system, bought a Sammy (Android) Tablet to provide a non PC functionality to play with. Then, bought a Z30, so wanted to take it further, so I bought both BlackBerry 10 ports for Sonos, "Room Tunes" and "Tiggit"...both work fine and I'm very grateful to the Devs who produced these very capable apps . However..yip, however: I have Snap, (2.0.0.0) and downloaded the Sonos player from Play Store ...here's the issue...the app installs fine but when I go to identify my system (or add components) it says "error".

    Any work around or suggestions?

    Thx in advance.

I borrowed my brothers Sonos for a party this weekend and couldn't get it working on my z10 nor my gf's.

I did have issues with my PC as well but but my and my buddies HTC One connected first try.

    Don't think it works.

Kevin Michaluk is probably the Sonos expert on these forums. If you're lucky he will chime in.

I couldn't get the Android Sonos app to work either (couldn't connect) so I use Room Tunes. It is good enough. Just I could play music from my device through it (I know you can on the official iPhone app)

I emailed the Dev and he said streaming locally stored music is almost ready, probably by end of Feb once it's approved.

There are threads on this and none have a solution for sonos. I've tried multiple times with no luck but room tunes works great for the most part.

Same issue here. Sonos installs fine on my Q10, but can not identify my system when setting up.

Android apps can't find local connections... searching for your Sonos will not work, hence why the app never finds it.

No need for an app to play locally stored files. Just open up the music app select what you want to play, long hold on it and choose play on, then select your Sonos device.

With regard to Room Tunes I find it a much nicer app than the official iPhone or Android apps.

Hi all, after updating to 10.2.1.2228, I loaded the Sonos app via Snap just to verify an extra time, .... and it finally work, perfectly. Now I have everything I need on my z30.
