I'm looking at a Sonos system but would like to control it from the Android app on my bb10.

I'm running the latest leak and have installed the app which seems to work ok.

Can anyone confirm the app works in its entirety without any problems?

Kevin that would be great although it would seem that the app starts ok but doesn't connect.

Ditto on unsuccessful attempts to get Sonos Android app to connect. Room Tunes is very nice.

RoomTunes is definitely the way to go on BB10 for Sonos control.

The developer has done an absolutely amazing job with it.

It doesn't find the system, but the native RoomTunes app is incredible!

Sonos Android won't work on BB10 period! My sonos setup was recognized automatically by Room Tunes. No need to go to a setup wizard. However, you need to manually connect your media services using the official sonos app and I used my old iPod touch for doing so. As soon as you login all the media services (Songza, 8tracks, etc) and you have connected to a media library (surprisingly, it detected all my music on a dlink nas via unc shares) they all show up under Room Tunes. I just wish that sonos support nobex so I can listen to my podcast.

If Sonos wants me to spend "big bucks" to buy it's product, then sure as **** it better have an app that works from my phone. To offer free apps to other OS systems, and then expect me to pay $10 for an aftermarket one is kinda a big deal. I don't have Sonos, nor will I ever, but it really is just my 2 cents.

Room Tunes is a great app. Even better then then Sonos own app. This is a limited market app. I think the price is reasonable for this.

Developer continues to release new features and is responsive to ideas.

Thanks. Just tried it with 2102 and no luck. I'm running RoomTunes quite happily and wondered how you found the official compared to it (if you've tried it) to see whether I should upgrade or not.

It's good to be you. Still no dice on Verizon Z30 following yesterday's update to 10.2.1.2180. Installs, loads,.. but won't find components.

Just updated to 2228 using Sachesi (so non destructive) and both Sonos and Deezer work fine now.
