Did anyone think of the possibility that the reason none of the bandaid patches that have been used to get Snapchat working on BlackBerry is because maybe the folks over at Team Snapchat actually come on here and read what all you folks are up to? If any of you think you are pulling the wool over Snapchat's per verbial eyes, think again.

Yeah I doubt that. What a waste of their time since we always get passed it somehow. I don't think snapchat is looking at blackberry and crackberry forums. They're probably just trying hard to block 3rd party apps in general and by doing so we get blocked in the process.

But mostly people here are simply trying to use the official Android app, which is not a third party app. That's what makes me think that someone over there is looking in on the online BlackBerry activity. As far as I know there aren't any other platforms that operate with an Android runtime like BlackBerry that can run apps from Google Play.

I guess we'll never know forsure. Although I think every problem we have has to do with google play services changes. You'll never get snapchat to work properly without google play services on any android device so why would it be any different for us on blackberry? Even though we could patch it, I'm not convinced that's enough.

If you have an already working Snapchat, you can use it on any version of 10.3.1 or 10.3.2, so long as you don't update past app v9.3.1.

What 10.3.2.2204 did, was allow you to sign in to an existing account on a fresh install with version 9.3.1 of the app (which is currently not blocked as an outdated version by Snapchat). Plus you can subsequently update to the current version. (all patched versions of course)
