I did a fresh install of 9.2 and created a new account. I then installed 9.14 over it as an update, without logging out at any point. Running 9.14 nonetheless asked me to log in again and the login temporarily failed alert shows again. It seems to me that something is special with nyplaya610's case, such that the updates don't log him out.

I notice that the same login temporarily failed message also shows if one puts any random password, not just the correct one... I'm not sure what the significance of this is.

Guys, When Snapchat gets to a point where they decide that they're not accepting a version prior to whichever they will bring out a version that logs you out. Problem being you won't know about it until it's too late and you won't be able to run an old version.

Maybe not now,maybe not tomorrow but it will happen. I think doing all the cobalt stuff and patches then new account will all be in vain and frustrate people even more.

As above. I have mentioned this earlier, been using it for months now and had no issues from the app or Snapchat with regards bans.

Not sure if its relevant but it might be something to do with not trying to install any official versions of Snapchat at all.

Use Casper

Casper doesn't support the "chat" part of "Snapchat", which is the whole reason I'm interested in Snapchat (several girls already I met on Tinder claim not to have WhatsApp/Kik/Skype and wanted to chat on Snapchat -- I don't give a **** about exchanging images).

Tell them to get WhatsApp, Kik, Skype, or BBM to chat on. If you don't care about exchanging images, then all of those apps are cross platform, and the girls you have met should be able to get them on their devices. If they really want to chat with you, they'll get the apps to do it.

After a restart, it hasn't crashed. I can view posts and send messages fine. I don't post things often, that's when it was crashing. But it did the same on 9.12

Used your patched 9.14 to update and everything seems to be working fine. It's actually a lot more stable and responsive than 9.12 was.

Try restarting your device. I would even update to the 9.14 I posted a few posts back. It's already been patched

Also do a back up of the app thru BlackBerry link because you can always roll back in case it doesn't work out well.

Oh man that sucks. Do you have cobalt apps installed? Did you white list snapchat? You can delete the update and restore snapchat through link

No worries I just want to sign up the old account was also fressh so no worries but when I sign up it dosent go futther than selecting username I have installed all the apps of cobalt

The process is to sign in with 9.2 then update to 9.14 but it doesn't work for everyone

Try restarting the device and make sure you don't have any snapchats installed
