When you update Snapchat do you delete the older version prior to updating to the new app?

No I never delete the older version because it wouldn't be updating at that point it would just be installing the newer version.

SO much hassle to just try to get an app to install and login. This is ridiculous! And if only all these tips and tricks actually worked. Not even patching the app works anymore...

Don't know why it worked for me. It messed up once and I wiped and reloaded my phone with an os it was last working on. Then updated and have been good updating ever since.

Weird, I wonder why. The problem is snapchat can force a logout to make you use the latest version. Once out its a struggle to get back in.

for those having trouble logging in, download an older version of snapchat like 9.2 (worked for me) and log in. Once logged in, go ahead and update to latest version.

Yes. Here are my steps. Download 9.2 and patch it before installing it.
How to patch before installing:
1) open lucky patcher
2) go to "rebuild & install" on the bottom tab
3) navigate to the apk, select it and click "rebuild" then select "apk without license verification"




4) install snapchat
5) sign in

Now that you have logged on you can download the new snapchat, I'm running 9.12 not 9.13. The newer Snapchat won't install before patching it. Follow the patching steps from above. You should be logged in to snapchat so when you update you won't be prompted to log in again.

Remember that not all solutions will automatically work for everyone or every device so keep that in mind when you try different methods. also, I was able to unlock my first snapchat account even after getting permanently locked out. I got a Samsung Galaxy tablet downloaded the latest snapchat version login with no issue and on the website was able to unlock my account. It's good to know that I have that option just in case.

It's been working since 9.2 was installed. It's been a while. Try downloading an older version than 9.2 and try to log in

I can't even install 9.2 after patching. I'm getting the same old "cannot install this app" error.
