Just got the BlackBerry passport and LOVE it. I can't get snapchat though and badly want it. Considering going back to my HTC. Please help!

This is crazy. This explains why Verizon Wireless prefer to sell you and Apple or Android device. Can't have people returning phone because of apps like Snapchat. People want these apps and I do t understand wtf is going on. Why won't BlackBerry or Snapchat port the app? Wtf

I love my passport. It does almost everything I want but snapchat. I run a media company and use snapchat to stay connected with fans and followers.

Every other app I use works great.

Snapchat worked just a short time ago. They do offer Snap10 or whatever it's called.

I kinda thought that SnapChat was more of a One-to-One naked picture thing. Seems like Email, BBM, Twitter and Facebook are better for keeping people updated and communicating with them.

You will go crazy trying to keep up with every different app that is the fleeting "it" app.

Just my opinion.

Seriously thought, SnapChat has been purposely blocking third party apps and even Android versions on BB10 phones. They hate us.

Snapchat version 4.1.07 works for me. You can Google it and download the apk. However I'd recommend sideloading snap10 as it runs a lot better than the official app

The best way to get tinder, snapchat, instagram and all the other apps that require google services is to download a really low version APK then update it using Google Play (http://forums.crackberry.com/android...oading-985344/)

I have the latest tinder, snpachat and instagram all working perfectly and Google Play even sends me a notification to update it so it stays up to date.

PS for some reason if i don't have a low version of the app installed and i just download the new one in google play that requires google play services the app won't work until I delete it find a low version with no google services and update it using google play. So that step i crucial.

No its not. People like certain apps. Lack of the big apps is one reason the major carriers in the US promote other phones. They don't want to get a call with a stupid question like "why can't I get Snapchat on my BlackBerry "? Just sell them an Android or Apple and you eliminate that problem right off the bat by not selling them a BlackBerry.

Sorry guys. The patched Snapchat stopped working nos
You can't sign into an older snapchat anymore. The newer versions don't let me sign in.
You won't be able to view your GF's nude snaps on a BlackBerry for now.

Maybe use a really old Snapchat version. Like 4.1.0.7. Install it,login. Then upgrade

I installed version 4.0.1, logged in, then downloaded version 9.3 to update the app. I can log in and view snaps just fine. However, I cannot take pictures. All snaps I take end up as just a black screen. Very frustrating.
