    I am asking because I've read an article where the author claimed that he installed Uber and Gett via Snap and it worked. From by best knowledge, both do require patching -- at least none of the two work when installed directly from Google Play! Is some Lucky Patcher alike functionality built into Snap?

    not that I know of. I have always had to patch with Lucky Patcher to get that to work. Snap files are hit and miss,,,,mostly hit for me. Amazon app store are nearly always miss.

    Cobalt's modified Google Play Store app is better in the sense that it will download obb files (which some Android apps use), and will allow in-app purchases - neither of which Snap will allow.

    Google Play Store and Snap use the same app repositore: The one from Google Play. So the downloaded apps are exactly the same. Snap doesn't have a feature to patch any apps. You can only use Lucky Patcher or GMaps Patcher.

    I have an issue with Snap - have emailed the dev (James Muir) twice and have not received a response.

    I realize he did not charge for Snap - but he does sell other apps - my personal opinion is he should support Snap since it is his developed app, and his lack of response would make me think twice and hard before I would purchase any other apps from him
