I managed to side load Snap. But now when using Snap, none of the apps listed in the store actually download, instead some random other app gets downloaded and installed. Its like a lottery! Instagram installs Maps, etc etc.

Anyone with any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

There is an option to clear cache in the settings. I would try that first.

If that doesn't work, then signing out and signing back in might work.

Thanks Umbrau44, but how does one clear the cache and sign out and in of what? Snap just opens and I am in, no sign in required nor can I find one in any of the options... sorry to be so slow.

Snap should be asking u for your Google account when u start it the first time

It asked for a sign in initially yes but there is no option to sign out that I can find.

Pull down from the top of the screen, and there will be a settings icon. Open settings, and you will find the option to sign out.

Visit the dedicated Snap thread and post your complaints. This bug is a known issue with Snap users in Africa. I can tell 'cause I'm having a similar experience.
