My problem: I can download and install already purchased apps (e.g. gReader Pro). But when I start the app, it behaves as if it were not the full version (adds appear). Others, that have separate unlock/key apps don't work either.

Any suggestions?

I'm not a lawyer or anything but I know that BlackBerry has vetting criteria an application must meet to be allowed on BBW. Section 12 of this document says:

12.0 Other App Storefronts
We do not allow other app storefronts, including:
12.1 Apps that sell other apps that run on competitors? products or on non-mobile operating systems
12.2 Apps that link to, function as or refer to competing app or theme stores (including those that sell free apps)
12.3 Apps that promote other ways to get apps (i.e. ? competing store fronts, via email, external website etc.)
12.4 Theme stores

Because of this, I think it is very unlikely that we will ever see Snap on BBW.

Snap doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. Soon as I click download on an app it says downloading then immediately says download successful when it downloaded nothing. Any ideas?

It does not save the file until after you install it - at which point you can't just quit the app, you must open the file, or back out of the installer.

Was wondering if anyone else have these read only files: qt_temp in their Snap download folder? These files are read only and I'm unable to Delete them. Was wondering if it's placed there by Snap or another application. I haven't seen them before until I've used Snap.

The download error still persists a lot! At least for me.

Tried to update temple run 2 having size 41MB and another app of same size.

Both of them stop around 10 MB or any but have not been able to get them.

Also max size app I have downloaded is 25mB. So not sure if this is snap problem or Google play.

I think that happens when the .apk you just installed is not properly moved to your designated folder. It is unable to finish the moving process and the temp file shows up instead. I was able to remove them though...

Thanks, it's good to know that you were able to delete it. How did you do it? I am unable to delete it in the native BlackBerry file manager and it doesn't even show up when I connect it to PC.

Any chance of a pause, resume and cancel download feature in the next version? Downloading is allot more stable with the new version on slower connections, but downloads still sometimes fail when the connection drops. With some stores you can resume a download when it fails, if you implement this feature, snap will be perfect. Keep up the good work.

I'll add to this that Google is very restrictive too. For example CyanogenMod was forced to remove all native Google apps from the distro. Right now they are distributed separately and require additional steps to install when switching to CyanogenMod.

So alas what we can ask for is just a better debug mode so it wouldn't require chrome with third-party extension to let snap in.

Once my display doesn't timeout, my downloads complete. If I begin a download over wifi an just leave the phone for the download to complete, the download errors out.

I keep tapping the screen, to keep it active and then my downloads complete every time no matter the size.

I updated to latest version and every app I download doesn't work. It opens but it just says loading...

Oddly enough, the most popular ones open but are VERY slow or laggy. Like Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, Pinterest and Candy crush...

I tried downloading Draw Something, Hobbit KoM, and another game and all of them just stay at their loading screens and do nothing else.
