I have the exact same error for bank of america banking app. Before upgrade to 2.0 it would just freeze. After 2.0 it gave the the network not found error. Now its the can't find item error. I'm in HK. So I think it is region specific. I'm sure US people don't have this error. Hope that helps.

You need to sideload the file. It will not install directly to your phone.

It checks for the latest available version of Snap, downloads it and installs the BAR file directly on your device.

Java must be installed and you'll need a USB cable to connect the device to the pc.

Yes, the phone must be in dev mode to be able to sideload. It because the phones security policy doesn't allow to push files without authenticating with a password. And dev mode forces to set a password.
