is snap not working? it keeps continuing to load.. but doesn't do anything it asks to re log in when i did said my password was wrong?

any ideas?

Working fine on my end. There have been a few reports of the app behaving that way but in pretty much all cases, a simple log out and log back in resolved it.

INCREDIBLE App! Side loaded a few days ago and I have yet to find an App that I've loaded with Snap that hasn't worked. It's awesome, Kevin you need to do a big front page write up on this App. I showed my buddy who has Z10 but is soooo none technical, I installed Snap on his Z10 and he is LOVING IT. He also carries an S3 for a few apps work related and since he got Snap he doesn't need his S3 with him at all times now.

Hi i installed snapchat. but every time i launch it it say "this app wont run without google play services, which are missing from your phone." what do i do with this? i know i can easily click away this, but in pvz2 i have a similar situation

Download and install Google Play Services... https://app.box.com/s/w2i48egvpn688mz1isvt this is an older version, which Snap will tell you to update. DO NOT because it won't do anything anyway except get rid off that message in Snapchat and other apps. If you do update it, to the 4132536.apk it will make that message worse, trust me I made that mistake lol

And if that version of Snapchat is 4.1.05 or .07 you will want to downgrade that as well, to .03 http://www.sendspace.com/file/9h7x8x (courtesy of theonecid) or you won't be able to use spacebar in the captions

You need to sideload it. Search the forums on how to sideload.

I didn't notice it getting hot but mine has crashed a lot for some reason. I thought I was low in RAM but it did it even when I had no other apps open too. No big problem though

I am loving Snap. The only nit picking problem I have is that it sometimes implodes and just closes. I re start the app and it works fine. Anyone else having this problem? I'm on 10.2.1.1259 on a Z10. Otherwise this app is pure awesome.

I've experienced the same issue with Snap on 10.2.1.1925. I deleted/unistalled the app, rebooted my phone, computer and reinstalled. ATM can't say if it helped.

Not via snap yet (though there are other ways using Chrome extensions, etc). Dev says it should be part of next release.

You need to open an android ported app first to get the runtime started. You should have one from BB World and if not download one of those first.

I was thinking about that too, but technically the app isn't a Google product and it doesn't make Google any money (as of right now, because it's only free apps).

So BlackBerry miight allow it. I mean, they allow apps on the store that cost 2.99 and don't do anything, they should really let apps like this into the store.

Perhaps it breaks some terms of agreement clause of Google, and if BlackBerry officially sanctioned the app they'd end up in court.

Something like that anyway.

If it was possible why wouldn't BlackBerry just build their own version. Not like they're losing anything. I'd have thought most of us would prefer a properly converted and supported Android app from BlackBerry World rather than one downloaded via Snap.

I think the whole idea is that pure (non ported) android apps will start to appear right in app world, they probably won't even tell you like they don't tell you it's a port now. I'm thinking that's part of the current beta program.
