James, nice touch in securing the paid APKs. This keeps the integrity of Snap as a legitimate app store. Have you thought of auto-deleting the paid APKs after install? This way they wouldn't take up storage either.

Is there anyway to change the logo on the user end? I'd prefer not to have an android robot on my sacred BlackBerry screen hahaha

Please start a email list for when you update Snap!
I would like to have the latest beta but find it hard to track on here.

    Thanks again!

Would love the option to save the free apks that get downloaded to a designated folder on my SD card instead of my device or a option to clear them. Thanks for your hard work.

The Dev updates the first post when there is an update, and I suspect that he will eventually start posting this on his webpage.

Just successfully installed a paid app!!!

I bought it on play.google.com and then clicked "Install" and then chose my Z30 (then had to do some manual stuff, but I'm working diligently to program it all into Snap)!

    WOOT! more details to come!

*Note: I do not support piracy and Snap will only allow you to download paid apps that you've rightfully paid for with your Google account.
Also, you will not have access to paid APKs. They will be stored in the private secured app storage of Snap.
    Sounds great!

About the last bit. Is there any way you can give us an option to purge the apks? I like to delete them after they install, purely to keep things tidy.

My opinion: don't go there. Unless your "curiosity" is so valuable that you'd like to put the developer at danger of getting blacklisted by Google after all of his valuable efforts.

Finally got around to installing. Thank You - You're a superstar

Let's get access to those paid apps! Any chance we could have our own BBRY social overlay to rate apps working/non-working or even BBRY user reviews?

I tried to download and install Viber and it all worked. As the file is quite large, the processing before installation takes some time. Maybe you should just wait a bit longer. If the installer asks you to quit installation and then hangs, do not press OK to abort. Press cancel and wait until the installer completed the job.

That is definitely a key, key important feature. One of the biggest liabilities of installing Android apps without the Google Play Services present is that there is nothing to monitor apps for updates and make it easy to install those updates. (Especially if one or more of the developers discover and subsequently patch security vulnerabilities in their app)

This feature largely eliminates that concern. Major props for that.
