If it's a download error, more likely it is an issue with the ID or credentials you are using to retrieve the APK.

My GSF ID is for 4.2.2 and works fine for almost all apps. The two that won't download are Momentcam and U-verse.

Then another guess would be that the platform that your GSF ID is associated with is not flagged as compatible with those apps.

Momentcam downloaded and installed via Snap just fine for me. I'm using the ID associated with my tablet running ICS.

I completely agree. I dropped $99.99 on RexWireless apps for my 8800 back in the day. Why? Because they did exactly what I wanted, and nothing else did. It was $100 well spent, in my view.

It is NOT possible. You have to sideload the bar as described here:

10.2.1.1055 allows to install apk directly but this has absolutely nothing to do with a bar file.

Yeah, but why? If BlackBerry wants to get the girls at the salon and college students back on a CrackBerry like they had 5 years ago, it needs to be easy to take advantage of the Android apps we can run. Having an app like Snap in the store makes it easy to try these things out.

I have been asked about my Z10 by people like this, and most of them WANT to get rid of their iPhone or droid, but they don't want to miss the apps. All of them used to have a BlackBerry and remember loving it. If this company is to survive, they have to exploit that and give those types of users a good reason to come back.

Just a reminder, you can't install apk directly on the OS you are currently running. Direct apk installation is only possible on 10.2.1.1055 and above. Even if you download using Snap on your current OS, you will still have to convert the apk to .bar file to be able to install it.
