Wow, just shut down this thread and start another one when it's all worked out. These people would have to ignore everything written in the first post (where they actually obtained the file in order to try it), and ignore just about every post since. There is no chance there are this many brain dead people here. Who the he11 would download and side load something onto their device without even reading the first post? Very cool. Can't wait for the customizable version (i.e. put your own info into it).

Right now, I have an HTC One. I load all apps i want onto it, then export them with myappshare to my dropbox, then load. Works fine. But, this would be better!

You can fix the camera by using the flash from the web browser while looking at google.

I try to download instagram and any time I press download said is a problem with the web page can not be open because is a problem with the web page .

Just a quick status update!

I've been porting over the chrome extension into Snap (so this means you will have to find your own Android GSF ID, for now)

• Fixed UI encoding issues
• Fixed UI responsiveness
• Login to gmail account
• Input Android GSF ID
• Generate APK Download Link
• Download APK and invoke installer
• Future: Allow setting of Country and Carrier (currently hardcoded to USA/AT&T)
• Future: List installed apps
• Future: Provide app update checker
• Future: Look into the ability to generate/extract GSF ID from the Android Runtime on the device

Looks like you got a handle of it already. Awesome!

I built an app today that uses the api from Paul's blog to search the Google Play store and generate direct apk download links.

EDIT: Looks like we've overloaded the download API endpoint, which is causing an error. I'm researching the ability to use your own Google account and your own Android DeviceID (your BlackBerry android runtime has one!) to download APKs. Stay tuned!

I downloaded DeviceID with my nexus7 and installed it on my Q10.
I didn't gave me a DeviceID for the Runtime on the Q10 so i'm not shure if you will be able to extract it.

Sorry guys new to forums,comments...just switched back to bb...loving my z10. anyway side loading apps is simple enough, but anything to make it easier would be great. That all said I can't find the snap app. I am not updated to 10.2 yet. Am on T-Mobile, anyone point me at a leak update or tell me when I can expect carrier update?

Two things:
1. "Those people" are the ones that will provide prompt and relevant answers when needed. Becuase they follow threads like this.
2. Many of us are following this thread to be informed of updates by the developer.

Finally, it is ****-poor forum etiquette to not read the first post in its entirety and to not search for your question before posting. If your question has been asked and answered, then you have the answer immediately rather than waiting for a repsonse.
