You are sideloading the .bar file on to your device, not actually trying to download and run the .bar file directly to your device, correct?

I have a Passport and there is no Netflix available yet on the Amazon store app. In fact many of the Android apps that I have on my Q10 are not yet available for the Passport. But with Snap...

"NOW THERE ARE!!!"

My integration away from my totally fantastic Q10 to my outstanding BlackBerry Passport now can be completed.

Did you try to install it directly on your phone like an android apk? If so, that's why it doesn't work. You have to sideload it using a computer.

You probably have 2-step authentication.

Make an app. password for Snap.

Is there any way to download Snap without having to sideload it !?

I recently moved in to my place and have yet to set up any WiFi so once I receive my Passport in the mail I won't be able to access anything via computer. Only the data on my phone..!?

Do you already have Cobalt's Snap installer downloaded? If not I would try to download that to your phone, move the file to your computer and run it from there to push Snap right to the Passport.

Ummm, yes. Like... ever since Snap came out. Been running it almost all year on my Z10.

Never a problem from 10.1 through 10.3.1. There were some sign in issues originally when the Google log-in was hard coded, but once you could log in with your own ID, no problems. Running a Z10-3 on T-Mobile.

Location - don't know if it's required.

Shared Files access - it has to download the apk to the phone before the installer can install it.

Device identifying information - maybe to help it create a Google device number for the store, but not sure.

However, since this is a native app, you can turn any of those off at any time. The only one that would be absolutely required would be file access, as stated above.
