Also, what hardware version are you using? (go to settings --> about and post what "model number") shows.

I'd also like to add that i have seen this issue on a Q10 SQN 100-3 running 10.2.1.2141 and a Z10 STL 100-1 running 10.2.1.2228. Both were also running v2.0.0.2 of Snap, so I'm not sure if it's a hardware or OS related problem, since both devices were running different OSs, and also don't have similar hardware.

At first I started chasing down hardware similarities between these devices, because I noticed no stl100-3 reports with snap, but came up inconclusive.

Then it hit me.
I wonder if it's actually a *regional* problem... aka the google play api behaves differently based on where the account is located? This would explain the lack of stl100-3 reports (afaik it's the most common bb10 hardware, and generally only available in north america), and why jamespaulmuir is having difficulty reproducing it. Also explains why some people are seeing this issue across different hardware on the same account. Maybe we should be reporting where the google account is registered to help narrow down this issue.

So I did some digging around the forums and gathered all the "download wrong app" reports I could find. So far not a single user in North America, with a wide range of hardware. Definitely seems regional. PM's sent to all those with blanks next to their names.

After reviewing my issue tracker, it's pretty clear that the "downloading wrong app " issue is regional.

Could any of those experiencing this issue try using a north American vpn connection and testing snap?

Trying to isolate if it's account-specific, or if it's the download server that Google is serving up.

You are totally right about the issue being a regional one. I started having the issue on my Z30 STA 100-2 running 10.3.0.296, so i decided to try my US and UK VPN servers. To my surprise, the intended apps were now being downloaded. But immediately i disconnected my VPN, the wrong apps were being downloaded again. That led me to the conclusion that the issue is definitely regional. Btw, my default region is Nigeria.
